Govt.ETEI,Patnagarh was started in the year 1973 to provide the Teacher Education at Patnagarh , Dist-Balangir, Odisha. It has intake capacity of 100 students every year. In the year 2018 The Headmaster Secondary Training School changed to Govt. Elementary Teacher Education Institution, Patnagarh by NCET. The Institute is situated in the middle of Patnagarh NAC. The mission and vision of the institute is to provide the best and updated Education system in the field of Teacher Education in India.
